Why PLA Works for Modular cannabis plant support

Adequate Lifespan

While PLA is biodegradable, it requires strict industrial composting conditions (high heat and specific microbes) to break down. Indoors, a standard PLA print will easily last 3 to 5+ years without structural degradation.

Moisture Resistance

Ambient indoor humidity and direct contact with wet soil or water will not cause PLA+ to dissolve or rot.

Zero UV Risk

Because it is kept indoors away from direct, unfiltered outdoor weathering, it will not become prematurely brittle from solar radiation.
